Launches the Rev.io Agent Portal.

Creating Agent Portal

  1. To create an agent portal go to the Settings menu and select Agent Portal Configuration link.

  2. Next, click the Create New link.
  3. Complete the fields under each tab and click Save to launch. Each tab is explained below.

Style Settings

The Style Settings tab allows the user to update the tab and link colors as well as the headers and footers on the agent portal.

Primary Color - This field accepts an HTML color code to change the primary color of the tabs and links in the agent portal. Clicking in the field will open up a color selection tool as well.

Highlight Color - This field accepts an HTML color code to change the highlighting color of the tabs in the agent portal. Clicking in the field will open up a color selection tool as well.

Shadow Color - This field accepts an HTML color code to change the text color of the title of the page in the agent portal. Clicking in the field will open up a color selection tool as well.

Hide Agent Portal Header - This field will hide the standard header of the agent portal page.

Use HTML Footer - This field can be used to create a customer HTML footer for the agent portal page. A text area box will open up when selected to design the footer.

Use Default Footer for Login - This field enables the default footer as provided by Rev.io.

Phone Number - This number will appear in the footer of the agent portal screen.

Email - This email address will also appear in the footer of the agent portal screen.

Menu Settings

The screenshot below provides the best practice settings for creating an agent portal. These settings enable the tabs and links that the user will have access to in the portal. Several of these options are no longer supported with today's version of agent portal. See below for a full list and explanation of each option.

Dashboard - This is the landing page for the agent upon login. This option is usually selected for the portal.

Quotes - This option is no longer available.

CSR - This option is only available when provisioning is enabled in Rev.io.

Tickets - This option allows the agents to see tickets across all of their accounts.

Check Address - This option enables an address validation tool for the agents to use when verifying an address. The address is validated with a USPS type database.

New Order - This option is only available for single line, wireless orders using the Signup application of Rev.io.

Enter Payment - This option allows the agents to take payments on behalf of the customer.

Commissions - - This option is no longer available. Commission reports are now available in the Reports tab.

My Reports - This option allows the agent to see data about their set of customers that the Rev.io administrator has shared. This is also the tab where an agent can find their commission reports.

My Profile - This option allows the agent to reset their password or up date their email address. This is a REQUIRED option.

Statements - This option is no longer available.

Logins - This option is no longer available.

Documents - This option allows the agents to see documents shared with from Rev.io.

Cash Drawer - This option is no longer available.

Provisioning - This option allows the agent to see all orders open across their accounts.

Add Top-Up - - This option is no longer available.

New Prepaid - - This option is no longer available.

Customer Search - This option allows the user to search for an account within the agent's subset of customers.

Integration: Data-Proc - This is a Lifeline verification integration.

Once all selections are made, click the Save button to create the agent portal. A user can log in to the Agent Portal at companyname.agentclick.com.
