Product Configuration

The standard product configuration instructions apply when creating a wireless product catalog. Follow the instructions from the Rev.io User Guide - Products & Packages section to complete the product setup. Code 1 (USOCs) and Code 2 (FID) details are typically provided by the carrier or service provider. These items will be unique to each product.

Wireless Device Products will require a matching inventory product. This product could be an actual handset (with ESN/MEID) or just a SIM card. When ordering service this inventory item will need to be attached to the account. Below are some examples of what these products might be.

  • 3G Device
    • Needs to be associated to "3G Devices" inventory of the carrier
  • 4G Device
    • Needs to be associated to "4G Devices" inventory of the carrier
  • 4G SIM
    • Needs to be associated to "4G SIM" inventory of the carrier

Features necessary for ordering the service with each carrier will need to be configured in the product catalog as well. These products could resemble the example below and are typically provided by the carrier or service provider.

Package Configuration
